Purpose

Primafonte is a free web scanner that calculates a page's Citability Index: a score from 0 to 100 estimating whether a language model can read, understand and cite its content.

Access to the site and use of the scanner are free and require no registration. Browsing primafonte.org implies acceptance of this legal notice as published at the time.

What the score is and is not

The Citability Index is a technical estimate based on 28 automated checks against the HTML served by the analysed site. It measures structural conditions, not outcomes.

It does not guarantee that any model will cite the analysed site, and it does not predict traffic, rankings or revenue. No provider can guarantee those outcomes, and neither does Primafonte.

Scores are never recalculated retroactively. A report reflects the state of the site at the moment of the scan, under the methodology version in force at that time.

Use of the scanner

• —The scanner only accepts public addresses served over HTTPS.
• —Requests identify themselves as PrimafonteBot and respect robots.txt. A site that blocks it is not analysed.
• —There is a limit of five scans per hour per IP address, and one real scan per domain per hour. Everything else is served from the 24-hour cache.
• —Using the scanner to overload third-party servers, circumvent the limits or automate bulk requests is not permitted.

Intellectual property

The design, code, copy, the Primafonte brand and the published methodology belong to Obsidiaan Tech S.L. or are used under licence. Reproduction or transformation without prior authorisation is not permitted.

The report you download about your own site is yours. You may use it, modify it and share it without restriction, including commercially.

Liability

The site is provided as is. Obsidiaan Tech S.L. makes reasonable efforts to keep it available and its analyses accurate, but is not liable for damages arising from decisions taken on the basis of a report, nor for service interruptions.

Analysed sites belong to third parties. Primafonte does not control their content, and analysing a site implies no relationship with, endorsement of, or judgement about the company that publishes it.

Third-party links

The site links to third-party pages over which Obsidiaan Tech S.L. has no control. Including a link does not imply endorsement of its content.

Data protection and cookies

Governing law

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law.

Any dispute falls under the courts of the user's place of residence where the user is a consumer. Otherwise, the courts of Granada, Spain.
